Sizzling - Sonal Chauhan

Sonal Singh Chauhan, an Indian fashion model and actress. She was crowned as the Miss World ourism 2005 at Miri, Sarawak state of Malaysia. She was a noteworthy former Miss India contestant. She is the frst Indian to have claimed Miss World Tourism title. She has been a popular model of Delhi, and has appeared in a nuber of advertisement campaigns in print and electronic media.

She was born in a Rajput family, originally hailing from the state of Uttar Pradesh/UP. Her father is a police inspector, and she has one elder brother and two younger sisters. She studied in Delhi Public School, NOIDA; and then enrolled in a graduation course in Philosophy in Gargi College in New Delhi. She will be making her bollywood debut in Mukesh Bhatt's Jannat paired opposite Emraan Hashmi to be released in May.

When contacted, Sonal revealed saying “I haven’t signed it as yet. There’s nothing on paper. Talks are going on. Verbally it is more or less confirmed but I really don’t want to comment as of now.” Sonal Chauhan is one of the most sought after names in the modeling world. Apart from Lays, her Ponds campaign has also earned her lots of recognition. She was a Miss India finalist in 2005 and also went to win Miss World Tourism title in 2005 in Miri, Malaysia. When quizzed, produced Mukesh Bhatt said, “Yes, it’s right,” confirming Sonal’s presence in Raaz 2.
